Heard at Nottawa Ice-Cream: The Negotiator June 1, 2011

Filed under: Family — faithfulremembrances @ 7:26 am

We took the children for an ice-cream treat the other night.

While gathered around our table enjoying the creamy goodness, the following conversation ensues:

Marissa:  “Mommy can I clean your room and bathroom and closet and you pay me some monies please?”

Me:  “You want me to pay you money to clean up my room?  Well how much are you thinking you should get paid?”

Marissa:  “Five dollars!”

Me:  “What!  Five dollars!  There is NO way I am paying you that much.”

Marissa:  “All right then six dollars.”
